It can be integrated with complementary switchgear components, such as load switches and vacuum contactors, to serve as a protective device for power transformers and associated equipment against short-circuit and overload conditions. Furthermore, it functions as a critical auxiliary component for high-voltage switchgear assemblies, ring main units, and high/low-voltage prefabricated substations.
